Rebadged Nissan Cherry. The Datsun Cherry, later known as the Nissan Cherry, represented Nissan's initial foray into the subcompact car segment and marked the company's debut of a front-wheel-drive supermini model line. This series of vehicles boasted a front-engine, front-wheel-drive layout, distinguishing them from many of their rear-wheel-drive counterparts. Among the models in the Cherry line were the E10 and F10 variations, adding versatility and choice for consumers.
