Datsun›Violet

The Nissan Violet, introduced in Japan in 1973, was designed to be a larger counterpart to the Nissan Cherry and was sold exclusively through Japanese Nissan dealerships known as Nissan Cherry Store. Its second generation was unveiled in 1977, with two new lines - the Nissan Auster and the Nissan Stanza - introduced alongside the existing Violet model. All three models shared the A10 series identifier and were manufactured in Japan at the Hiratsuka and Yokosuka assembly plants. The Nissan Stanza, available at Nissan Satio Store dealerships, was positioned as a larger alternative to the compact Nissan Sunny model. On the other hand, the Nissan Auster triplet was sold exclusively at Nissan Prince Store locations as a larger companion to the Nissan Langley
