The Lada Priora, a compact car from Russian automaker AvtoVAZ, was in production from March 2007 to July 2018. It served as a modernized version of the Lada 110 and officially replaced it in 2009. By May 16, 2012, a total of 590,000 Priora units had been manufactured. However, as of the 2016 model year, the Priora was no longer available for export markets and was effectively succeeded by the Lada Vesta, though it continued to be sold domestically in Russia. The end of an era for the Lada Priora was marked by a symbolic event on July 16, 2018, when a photo circulated online
